I’m an experienced and award-winning filmmaker working in reality tv. I’ve had a lifelong passion for visual storytelling, and take pride in being known as someone with good “story sense.” I’ve now story edited nine episodes of the hit Discovery Channel docu-reality series Highway Thru Hell and am looking forward to expanding into different shows.
I’ve also edited broadcast and online commercials at Barbershop Films and assistant edited at Convergent Entertainment. I studied at Emily Carr, BCIT and Capilano University, and have over a decade of experience in post-production, with a background in art and graphic design.
For the past 3 seasons I’ve been writing episodes (Story Editor) for Discovery Channel’s most-watched original Canadian series, Highway Thru Hell. (I’ve written nine episodes so far!) Now in its 13th season, this docu-reality show follows the “highway heroes” of heavy rescue and recovery towing companies operating along the highways of British Columbia, battling massive mudslides, whiteout snowstorms, torrential rain, and dangerous rockslides.
Previously I’d been on the Story Team since Season 7, liaising with the field crew, helping track and organize stories into episodes and supporting the writers and editors of each episode.
